Accounting Officer
Anacura, a family-owned, growing center of excellence in healthcare with over 300 employees consists of 4 independent business units: Labo Nuytinck, active in medical analytics and Anabiotec, OHMX.bio and Discovery Studio, active in drug development. The labs have their main activities in a state-of-art building in a green surrounding near Ghent, Belgium.

Role
- You will support the finance team with the day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks for several companies.
- You will process purchase and sales invoices.
- You will record financial transactions and ensure that payments are prepared correctly.
- You will monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- You will assist with the preparation of VAT returns and tax obligations.
- You will provide support with the monthly and year-end closings.
- You will monitor master data for customers and suppliers.
- In addition to operational tasks, you will have the opportunity to contribute to optimising financial processes and support the department’s ongoing digitalisation. You will work closely with experienced colleagues within a professional team.
- You will report to the Accounting Manager.
Profile

You have at least three years’ experience in an accountancy environment and, ideally, hold a bachelor’s degree.

You are highly meticulous and have a keen eye for detail.

You have a proven affinity for accounting and tax legislation.

You are quick to get to grips with new computer systems; knowledge of Exact Globe is an advantage.

Your colleagues describe you as a true team player; someone with a flexible attitude who can also work independently.

You have an analytical mind, take the initiative and work proactively.

You have an excellent command of Dutch and work at least 80%.
